There have been some minor route adjustments to RAB 2022 (THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE IN 2024)

We are always looking for the best route North and after final checks and reviews of feedback, we've made a couple of changes for 2022.

Day 5: We will be returning to Carlisle Racecourse this year which has meant a slight increase in distance on Day 5 of 2.4 miles to a total of 118.8 miles. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/39930248 

Day 6: We've often had feedback about the poor road surface on the B road that runs parallel to the A74(M). So this year we have decided to avoid that stretch of road and incorporate the steady ascent of the wonderfully titled ‘Devil’s Beef Tub’ instead. The beautiful addition has a steady average gradient of only 3.1% and is part of the traditional End-to-End route. 

These changes have increased the distance of Day 6 by 2.7 miles to 107.3 miles and take the ascent on that day to 4,844ft.
